In this project, a large air dome sports stadium required a lighting upgrade to meet the needs of daily training and official competitions. Due to the column-free structure of the air dome, the lighting solution needed to ensure even coverage across the entire playing area while minimizing glare that could affect athletes’ vision.
After on-site assessment, the project team installed 400W FK private mold floodlights in key areas to provide high-brightness and stable illumination. The fixtures utilized professional optical lenses to optimize light distribution, reducing glare and shadows to achieve uniform lighting throughout the venue. Additionally, to accommodate the unique air dome structure, the lights were secured with wind-resistant mounting and adjusted for optimal height.
Following the upgrade, the stadium’s overall illumination significantly improved. The lighting became soft and uniform, with no flickering or excessive glare. Athletes could clearly track the ball’s movement and field boundaries, while spectators experienced enhanced visual comfort. This lighting solution not only improved the usability of the stadium but also provided a valuable reference for similar sports facilities.
